Anti-Spam Policy
Indy Associates believes spam wastes time, money and resources of all
Internet users. As a result, we have adopted a simple, and
straightforward policy against spam:
We do not, nor do we permit our users to send spam.
Indy Associates customer support reviews all large email
lists and reviews emails going to a large number of contacts.
Any employee or customer found to be using Indy Associates hosting or
the Your Direct Marketing service for spam will be immediately be
suspended from using our system. In the case of our
employees, we will take corrective action that could include
termination of employment. We take our anti-spam policy very
seriously.
Unsubscribe Policy
We belive that there is only one thing worse than getting an email you
don't want: getting another email you don't want after you have asked
to be removed from the list. Our unsubscribe policy is
simple: you are removed from the list the moment you unsubscribe.
We also provide an additional protection: once you
unsubscribe, our system does not allow our users to add you to the list
again.
Service User Rules
To ensure our Anti-Spam and Unsubscribe policies are followed , we have
implemented the following rules that users of the Your Direct Marketing
Service must follow:
- List members must have an existing business relationship
(they must have bought something from the user within two years of the
date of subscription) or subscribers must opt-in to the mailing list
using a process that includes a confirmation email link to ensure that
the subscription is wanted.
- Unsubscribes must be honored, period. Once a
member unsubscribes, users may not email that person unless they
subscribe again.
- Sending of unsollicited email is not prohibited and will
result in immediate suspension of service.
- Forged domains are not permitted. Using a third
party domain name not controlled by the user is not permitted.
- All emails must contain the user's physical mailing address
and an unsubscribe link.
